Manchester United suffered a blow after it emerged that Mason Mount will be injured until next month.
The £60million summer signing got in trouble in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham and will be missing until after the international break.
Mount is also expected to sit out England’s European Championship qualifiers against Ukraine on September 9 and Scotland three days later.
The 24-year-old has started both of United’s two Premier League games during an unfavorable opening to the season for the club, with new striker Rasmus Hojlund yet to appear with a back problem.
United, who host Nottingham Forest on Saturday, believe the matter with Mount is not too serious.
