Mason Mount poses in Chelsea box amid Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool links

Is this Chelsea’s farewell to Mason Mount? £55 million Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal pose in a Stamford Bridge box after an emotional round on the pitch after the final game of the season

Mason Mount looked emotional as he joined his Chelsea teammates on a lap around the pitch amid speculation he will be leaving the club this summer.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with the England midfielder, who is valued at £55 million.

The 24-year-old Mount also posed for a photo with former Chelsea youth coach Jody Morris and current head of academy and player development up to under-14 level Ben Knight in a Stamford Bridge box.

But he gave little away in an end-of-season Instagram post thanking Chelsea fans for their support during a turbulent campaign that ended with a 12th-place finish in the Premier League.

They ended their season with a 1-1 home draw against Newcastle on Sunday.

Mount has been linked with a £55 million move to Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool

Mount wrote, “It’s fair to say it’s been a season of ups and downs, but your support has never waned.

“As you traveled across the country, you were with us every step of the way, and sometimes we didn’t deserve you.

“But now it’s time to get away from it all and recover… Thanks and enjoy your summer blues.”

Mount, who has missed Chelsea’s last games of the season through injury, posted images with interim manager Frank Lampard and Conor Gallagher, another who could leave in the summer.

He still has a year left on his current contract, but talks over a new contract have stalled, meaning Chelsea will have to sell this summer to get anywhere near their valuation of Mount.

As Mail Sport revealed last week, United have attempted to steal a march on their Premier League rivals in pursuit of Mount by making a £55 million bid.

Chelsea estimate him at nearly £85 million, but the final figure is likely to be lower as his contract has only one year left. However, a bidding war between the rival clubs could drive up the price.

Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of Mount and would like him to stay.

However, there is serious doubt whether Chelsea can revive talks about a contract extension.
