Mason Greenwood has been named Getafe’s Player of the Season as the Manchester United forward’s loan spell with the Spanish team draws to a close.
The 22-year-old arrived at the LaLiga club last September following a deadline day transfer. Since then, he has played in 36 games in all competitions, scoring ten goals and six assists.
Eight of those goals came in LaLiga, with Getafe keen to extend its current loan deal for an extra season.
It comes as Mail Sport reported earlier on Tuesday that Borussia Dortmund were interested in signing Greenwood.
This newspaper understands that the Bundesliga side will make a decision on whether to sign the 22-year-old after the Champions League final on Saturday.
