A horror crash has left three teenage passengers in hospital, while the driver remains missing after fleeing the scene.
Emergency services were called to Southern Cross Drive in Mascot, in Sydney's south, just before 1am on Sunday to reports of a two-vehicle crash.
A 13-year-old boy had to be extricated from a Kia by the Rescue and Bomb Disposal Squad before being taken to Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick in a serious condition.
Two other passengers, girls aged 12 and 13, were taken to the same hospital for observation.
Police confirmed the driver of the Kia, which was reported stolen in Alexandria on Saturday, fled the scene.
The driver of the Honda was uninjured.

Police have set up a crime scene and are investigating, with anyone with dashcam footage or information urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
