“He said he killed five people,” an officer is heard saying without a sense of urgency.

At the same time, dispatch received a call from Muniz’s ex-girlfriend, Lourdes Martinez, who claimed he had called her and confessed to “killing his entire family.”

“He said he killed his sister, brother-in-law and two children and his sister’s father.”

“His mother is on her way,” Martinez added.

“Do you think he meant it?” the coordinator asked doubtfully.

“He’s bipolar and said he has a gun and two bullets left in it.”

Moments later, 911 is called again by Janel Gabriel, a member of Muniz’s extended family, who has been told that Muniz had murdered everyone in a family home on Mack Court.

Police eventually arrive at the Mack Court home and find Muniz’s mother outside the property.
