This came after Martin’s famous son Roman opened up about his desire to have children of his own, confessing that he is ‘terrified of not having children’.

The 31-year-old presenter spoke highly of his close bond with his parents Martin and Shirlie Holliman, saying the example they set inspired him to start a family of his own.

In an interview with Heat magazine, Roman admitted that he was also concerned about his own infertility and that he had a sperm test done last year.

The star confessed to the publication: ‘I’m terrified of not having children. That’s my biggest thing. I even went for a sperm test when I was 30. I’m such a family-oriented person.’

Roman and his father Martin have been known for their close bond since they first appeared together on Celebrity Gogglebox in 2019.

The duo also present their ITV breakfast show Martin & Roman’s Weekend Best! and now present their own podcast FFS! My Dad Is Martin Kemp.

He paid tribute to his famous parents and the example they set, saying: ‘I love my mother and father… I am so grateful for the life I’ve had, and the family I’ve had, that I can’t imagine anything better.

“I’ve always told my friends, no matter what job I get, they’ll know I’m really happy when I call them and tell them I’m going to have a baby.”

Roman previously dated his ex-girlfriend Anne-Sophie Flury for three years, but the couple split in 2020.

Since then he has been linked to radio colleague Codie Jones and German model Jette Kerkoff, but a relationship with either has never been confirmed.

The star also joked that he doesn’t mind being called a fake baby as it doesn’t hinder his career in the entertainment industry.

He honestly admitted that he enjoys it and that if his father had helped him get a job, he would have done those chores. In the same way, he would help his future children to achieve what they want to achieve in life.

Roman also spoke openly about his depression, admitting that he can’t imagine ever living without antidepressants.
