Although she only uses beeswax candles, she certainly makes sure they look beautiful.

It may seem obvious, but beeswax candles are exactly what they sound like: candles made from a special type of wax made from honeybees.
According to The Scottish Bee CompanyBeeswax candles are ‘non-toxic’, ‘chemical-free’ and made from natural materials.
They can even fill your home with a light scent Martha Stewart’s own websitebecause they have a naturally sweet smell.
Stewart also spoke to House Beautiful about her thoughts on candles, explaining that she loves using them to decorate her table decorations.
And with Thanksgiving and the holidays approaching, who better to listen to than the decorating queen herself?
“I like colors that blend into the background when they’re on the table, but I want to buy candles that are very high quality, good wax and unscented,” she said House Beautiful.

Alongside a photo of the room, Stewart wrote on her personal Instagram page: ‘I rarely read all the comments that come in after I post, but because I was so happy with the transformation of my living room in Maine.
“I read through many of the comments and was surprised by the harsh judgment displayed by so many!!!”
She added, “Me and my helpers from Maine spent three hours removing the old furniture and putting in the new. We were pleased that the pieces actually fit the space and were proportionate to the large size of the space.”
