The Manhattan getaway comes after Martha spoke out about working from home.
In an interview with Footwear News, she argued that people “may not get everything done by working three days a week in the office and two days remote.”
Describing her tight work schedule, the multihyphenate revealed that she “continued to work five days a week” during the coronavirus pandemic.
Stewart is worth an estimated $400 million through her Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia empire, which spans publishing, broadcasting, and product lines.
Her comments come at a time when more and more companies are offering their workforce a hybrid work model.
Some companies ask their employees to come only two and a half days a week.
She noted that many French companies allow their employees to take extended periods off from work during the summer, with many receiving 30 days of paid vacation a year.
“Look at France’s success with their stupid… you know, ready for August, blah blah blah,” Stewart said.

Martha Stewart Living’s founder told the publication she was on a “rampage” to get people back to the office.
Last month, the octogenarian covered the Sports Illustrated 2023 Swimsuit issue, making her the oldest woman ever to appear on the magazine’s front cover.
The publication’s other cover stars were Megan Fox, Kim Petras, and Brooks Nader.
The businesswoman – who called posing for the magazine “historic” at her age – showed off her figure in 10 different bathing suits.
In one picture she was in a red bathing suit with a plunging neckline, while in another picture she was smiling at the camera in a white bathing suit and an orange scarf.
She was photographed by Ruven Afanador in the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic.

While reflecting on the experience, Martha explained that she “doesn’t think much about age,” but admitted that being a part of the magazine at age 81 was definitely important to her.
“When I heard I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit I was like, ‘Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I’ve ever seen on a Sports Illustrated cover,'” she said.
“And I don’t think much about age, but I thought this is kind of historical.”
“Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or in terms of success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s what matters and not your age,” she added.
