Married At First Sight’s Michael Felix has broken his silence after his relationship with Stephen Stewart was rocked by a flirting scandal this week.
In Monday’s episode, Michael, 34, became upset after witnessing his husband Stephen, 26, flirting with another man before exchanging numbers with him.
Their relationship was called into question when Stephen told Michael that he felt a stronger bond with the hairstylist than with him.
Michael has now broken his silence on the emotional scenes HIT radio program Bronte & Lakey to discuss the shocking drama.
Speaking to presenters Bronte Langbroek and Danny Lakey, Michael admitted he felt ‘blindsided’ by the flirting, especially given Stephen’s openness about having been cheated on in a previous relationship.

Michael said, “Apparently there was a spark there that I witnessed and tried to ignore, and I learned that there was a sexual attraction to this man that he never had with me, that he could never see in me. It was a shame.’
“It was a complete blindside, especially considering his past and realizing how monogamy works for both him and me,” he added.
Michael also took a swipe at some of his MAFS co-stars, claiming much of the 2024 cast was only appearing on the reality TV show for “drama.”
“There are a lot of people on the show who are just for drama and there are some people who are really sincere,” he said cryptically, declining to name anyone.
However, he went on to discuss his unexpected clash with Sara, with the bride coming to Stephen’s defense amid the flirting scandal, leaving Michael furious.

Michael has now broken his silence on the emotional scenes, admitting he felt ‘completely blindsided’ by the flirting and describing the disturbing situation as an ’embarrassment’.
In the fiery duel, Michael accused Sara of being ‘shallow’ as she punched him for ‘lashing out’ at her as they butted heads.
Of their clash, Michael said: “(Sara’s) obviously involved in a lot of drama and a lot of mess.”
‘She sat next to me and it just triggered me, I was done with it. Never give anyone else the chance to speak, get away from me,” he continued.
“I will always fight fire with fire if necessary.”
Michael shared his anger at MAFS in scenes aired on Monday after witnessing his husband Stephen flirting with a hairdresser while they both visited a salon.
“Stephen was doing his hair. I saw my husband flirting with his hairdresser. Later I saw them texting,” Michael told the cameras during the episode.
Stephen was unapologetic about the incident and told Michael that he felt a stronger bond with the hairstylist than after three weeks with him.

Michael said: ‘He told me he felt a spark with the hairdresser that he never felt with me. My trust has been betrayed, he let a spark collapse an entire house.”
“I had a 30 second conversation with someone and it was so much easier to flirt with them than with you after knowing you for weeks,” Stephen added.
