But it looks like Lauren, 32, and Jonathan, 39, have finally put their differences aside after they were spotted enjoying a rare date during a filming break.

The pair were photographed sharing an intimate evening at Sydney’s Miso Japanese Teishoku Restaurant, hinting at a blossoming relationship.

As they settled away from the cameras and the pressure of the show, Lauren and Jonathan seemed engaged in a deep conversation.

The pair rekindled their romance after Jono flew to Perth for Home Stays

The rare outing comes after reports that Jono and Lauren wanted almost nothing to do with each other when the cameras weren’t rolling.

“Lauren didn’t want to spend time with Jono when they weren’t filming,” a well-placed insider told Daily Mail Australia.

“Although they had great times, Lauren often preferred hanging out with friends, watching reality TV and ignoring him when he asked if she wanted to go out for dinner.”

Despite producers warning the cast about any “catch-ups,” Lauren and Sara had no worries as they continued to plan outings together without their partners.

Another source defended Lauren and suggested a sense of betrayal from Jono for ‘hanging her out to dry’ during dinner parties.

‘Lauren had absolutely no interest in spending more time with him than necessary on the weekend. She felt betrayed and abandoned,” the insider said.
