Married At First Sight is supposed to be a reality series about ordinary people finding love.
But this year’s season has a hidden side: several of the contestants are secretly part-time actors or working in show business.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that a handful of participants – including fan favorite Lucinda Light and innocent groom Collins Christian – have experience as performers.
Despite claiming to be a 28-year-old executive assistant, Collins has appeared in television commercials.
The MAFS fan turned contestant, who had been trying to appear on the show for several years, appeared in an Ashley and Martin hair loss advert in 2022.

Collins shared the clip on his Instagram and revealed that he had been cast as ‘Raja’ for a short period.
‘Watching the World Cup and seeing your own mug on National TV for the first time…weird but also pretty cool!!’ he wrote in his caption.

Just a year ago, Lucinda was working at burlesque establishment Secret Cabaret Society in Byron Bay as ‘Madam of the House’.
The celebrant, whose real name is Lucinda Reilly, has been using a pseudonym professionally for five years.
In a resurfaced post on her LinkedIn profile, the bubbly bride made a call to expand her career in television.
“I am looking for great roles as an MC or TV host and would appreciate your support,” she wrote in 2022.
