Married At First Sight star Daniel Holmes slams Abbie Chatfield for comment on celeb boxing matches

Daniel Holmes called Abbie Chatfield “stupid” on Friday for accusing all reality TV men of participating in “celebrity boxing matches.”

The 27-year-old radio host was confused about the process the men went through to go from reality TV to boxing, saying that “it’s only reality TV people” who do it.

One of those men, Daniel, 31, took to Instagram to dismiss her claims, saying that there were plenty of other celebrities from various industries jumping into the ring.

“I’m all damn serious now. I need someone to explain to me the reason behind the pipeline from man on reality TV to celebrity boxing match,” Abbie said in a video she posted to her Instagram Stories.

‘What is going on there? What is happening? And how come they are the only public figures doing it. There are no DJs doing it, or musicians doing it.

“It’s just reality TV people. Why? Is it a [multi-level marketing scheme]? Are they recruiting each other? What is it?’

When one of the panelists’ followers pointed out that she’s gone from reality TV to I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, she quickly shut them down.

Abbie said “doing reality TV” was her job and it was like someone leaving RayWhite to work for LJ Hooker.

‘Yes, [reality TV] is where I work. I wonder how they get boxing. That’s my question,’ she finished.

The feud between the two took an ugly turn on Friday when the pair went head-to-head during their pre-bout weigh-in.

After a few heated words were exchanged between them, things got physical as Brent grabbed Daniel by the neck with both hands before violently pushing him away.

Daniel managed to stay on his feet as he took the heavy contact in his stride, and let out a loud laugh as Brent, 34, bared his teeth and appeared very angry.
