Married NYPD lieutenant accused of sexually assaulting his coworker-turned-lover

A New York Police Department real estate lieutenant has been accused of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend, demanding threesomes and threatening to throw her under a train if she spoke about their affair.

Ammy Ventura, a 40-year-old single mother and civilian employee of the real estate division, filed a lawsuit Tuesday in the Manhattan Supreme Court.

She is suing Lieutenant Wilder Lucas, 41, and the city for unspecified damages under claims of sexual harassment and discrimination.

In the court documents obtained by The New York PostVentura said she started dating Lucas in April 2021.

He told her he was divorced, she said.

The relationship soured after five months, with Ventura claiming he became aggressive and mean.

Lieutenant Wilder Lucas, 41, asked about the lawsuit and said he had no idea what it was about

“My client was treated with contempt as a sexual object, harassed, sexually assaulted, and had her life repeatedly threatened at work by her supervisor, who felt he could act with impunity because of his position,” Ventura’s attorney, John Scola, told the newspaper.

Lucas, contacted by The Post, said: “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Ventura reportedly claims in the court documents that Lucas demanded she perform oral sex on him after a date at a shooting range in May 2021 where he taught her to fire a gun.

When she refused his request, he got angry, she claims, and yelled, “Shut up!”

Shortly before they split in September 2021, Lucas invited Ventura to the Dominican Republic.

But upon landing, she claims he brought three other women and ignored her, calling her “f****** obnoxious.”

After the trip, she confronted him, she claims, but he told her, “I can’t talk — I’m a married man.”

Ventura then claims that Lucas sexually assaulted her in his office in August 2022, while she was at work.

She claims, according to the Post, that Lucas grabbed her hair, pulled her behind his desk and forced her to give him oral sex while his office door was wide open.

According to court documents, the incident was “against her will,” but Ventura felt “paralyzed and utterly powerless to stop the violent assault.”

Ventura says in her suit that she felt “powerless” to speak out to him despite him making inappropriate comments and repeatedly saying he wanted a threesome with her.

She claimed he “openly enjoys” making her feel uncomfortable.

In late 2022, when news of Ventura and Lucas’s relationship began to circulate, he threatened her and demanded that she never mention their affair.

He allegedly told Ventura, “I’ll fucking kill you,” and threatened to “push” [her] for a train.’

He also demanded that she delete evidence of their relationship from her phone and from the cloud — which she did out of “fear for her life,” the documents claim.

As a single mother [Ventura] lives in constant fear that her financial situation will worsen due to Defendant Lucas’s threats that he could terminate her employment given his position,” the lawsuit alleges.

An NYPD spokesperson said: “Sexual discrimination is prohibited by federal, state and city laws, as well as Department policy, and the NYPD takes all allegations of such conduct seriously.

“The NYPD thoroughly investigates all complaints it receives and provides several reporting options for NYPD employees, including anonymously.

“The department does not tolerate any form of discrimination and is committed to providing respectful work environments for our diverse workforce.”

A spokesman for the city’s legal department said the agency “will review the lawsuit as soon as it is served.”

The lawsuit was filed the same day it was announced that a Texas 911 dispatcher, Krystle Perez, was placed on leave for “sexting” colleagues.

Perez, a night dispatcher with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department in San Antonio, spoke at length with both a sergeant and a deputy sheriff about alleged past trysts.

Other messages sent by Perez, 38, and discovered by husband Giancarlo Perez, 41, contained similarly sexed-up correspondence — between her and four other officers on the force, as well as an officer from a nearby department.

The messages were discovered and sent to the small town police by husband Giancarlo Perez, and are now being vetted to determine their legitimacy.

Another, Deputy Jason Jarvis (right), has been hit with a proposed 30-day suspension. Seen here with wife Jessica, the deputy has reportedly confessed to having sex with the dispatcher – and has since been hit with divorce papers

One of those officers, Deputy Juan Leal, has been placed on unpaid leave as a result of the recent revelation, while another, Deputy Jason Jarvis, has received a proposed 30-day suspension.

Sergeant Renaldo Salinas has also been placed on unpaid leave while the department continues to investigate the lewd text messages.

Salinas, Leal and Perez have all been warned by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Offices that they are likely to lose their jobs.

They deny misbehaving on duty, but the sheriff is now investigating whether this is true.

Messages sent to Salinas suggest he and Perez met for sex, while Jarvis’s wife – who is now divorcing him – said he admitted to an affair with her.

Many of the messages leaked to the department by Perez’s spurned husband are extremely sexual in nature, while others recount Perez’s past exploits with two of the officers in great detail.

“She was the love of my life and it was very distraught, heartbreaking,” says 41-year-old Giancarlo told KABB San Antonio during the weekend.

He said his marriage imploded in December when he discovered text messages on his wife’s phone.

“I was in disbelief,” he says in the clip, and at one point even seemed on the verge of retching as he remembered the traumatic discovery.

The drama is reminiscent of the scandal that engulfed the La Vergne Police Department in Tennessee earlier this year.

Married cop Maegan Hall was fired after having sex with six of her colleagues – but her husband Jedidah Hall stood by her.

The couple is currently trying to save their marriage.
