Married Dem lawmaker accused of groping colleague releases her VERY thirsty texts about him

Screenshots of text messages between a woman accusing a married Democrat of sexual assault and her friend appear to cast doubt on her claims.

The development stems from newly filed court documents in the sexual abuse lawsuit against 47-year-old Nathan Fletcher, who served as chairman of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors from 2021 to 2023.

His accuser, 36-year-old Grecia Figueroa, a former public relations specialist for Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), filed a lawsuit in San Diego District Court in March 2023 alleging he groped and kissed her.

Text in the documents filed by Fletcher’s lawyers paint their interactions in a different light. There’s talk of a steamy “makeout session” and Figueroa claiming she was “f****n in love.”

Another message seemed to indicate that the city worker was planning to destroy Fletcher’s marriage. It read: “I’m just going to show him how smart I am and hopefully he’ll divorce his wife and realize he just met the love of his life.”

The letter was sent to Figueroa’s girlfriend Danielle Radin after the couple’s alleged first meeting on May 12, 2022. Figueroa wrote, “Brooooo, it’s happening. I’m going to meet him. But something informal, like secretly,” the file showed.

Radin, a television journalist and self-described domestic violence counselor, responded in turn, “GOOD LUCK!!!! Let me know how it goes,” the file showed.

Figueroa, a Peruvian-American who moved to the U.S. at age 13, responded, “Oh my God, so if I want to have sex with this man… I can.”

This happened after Fletcher, then chairman of the MTS board, ‘persuaded’ her to visit him at his hotel and led her to a stairwell where he confessed he was in love with her. He then suggested she have ‘a few drinks’, she alleged in her original complaint.

Figueroa initially said she was “shocked and confused” and “powerless” by the politician’s advances because of his position.

She also said that Fletcher, who has been married to his second wife Lorena Gonzalez since 2017, made advances toward the end of the evening,[ting] “He put his hands on her and kissed her,” the complaint said.

Radin then texted back, “Well, I could have told you that, lol,” Fletcher’s application read.

An hour later, while Figueroa was with Fletcher, he texted back.

“I told him no, no kissing. We’re going to work together for at least two more years, we can’t go there,” the file showed.

Radin responded after hearing Fletcher trying to kiss her: “I thought you were going to kiss haha,” the file shows.

Later that night, Figueroa wrote how she held back for three hours before finally kissing Fletcher. She told her friend, “I feel like I’m coming out of the wildest dream I’ve ever had, and I don’t know how to feel about it.

“Oh my god, it was amazing, but at the same time it felt sooooo wrong,” she said.

“I have no words,” the file further revealed.

She then blamed the “3 f***** beers” the two had drunk for the interaction, confirming to her friend: “We kissed.”

Other texts describe an alleged second meeting with the public transport boss, which took place in June of that year.

At the time, the public transportation director reportedly told Figueroa to meet him in a conference room at MTS’s San Diego office.

Once inside, “Fletcher put his mouth to hers and began grabbing her breasts through her clothing,” the complaint states.

In a text message afterward, Figueroa told Radin, “Hahahaa, I just hugged him and congratulated him… and then we walked to the corner of the room, away from the window, and kissed.”

“A kiss wasn’t on my agenda today,” she added.[B]But hey…what do I know about it anymore.’

Radin responded by writing back, “OMG hahaha… that’s really hot,” Fletcher’s complaint revealed.

Here too, the story in the correspondence differed significantly from that in Figueroa’s complaint, in which she wrote that she had rejected Fletcher during the conversation.

She further claimed that she told him she was “not comfortable having these types of meetings with him, especially at MTS headquarters” – something that is not in the file.

The texts also show discrepancies during an alleged third meeting on Dec. 1, 2022, after which Figueroa texted Radin that day with five “OMGs.”

“During my investigation, I discovered information about Mr. Fletcher’s conduct that was of significant public interest,” Radin wrote on August 13.

“The seriousness of the allegations regarding sexual misconduct and abuse of power made it necessary for me as a journalist to continue to monitor the situation by communicating directly with the source herself, Ms. Figueroa.”

It added that ‘any information I may have about Nathan Fletcher has been obtained solely through my role as a domestic violence counsellor or in my capacity as a journalist reporting on related matters.’
