Married At First Sight’s Seb Guilhaus reveals mental health issues as he breaks silence after being accused of dealing $90,000 worth of meth

Sebastian Guilhaus has broken his silence after being released on bail after being arrested for alleged drug trafficking.

The Married At First Sight star posted a series of videos to Instagram Stories on Sunday evening, explaining that he was dealing with mental health issues following his arrest.

Seb began the clips by thanking everyone who “checked in” and “went above and beyond” by providing “character references” after what he called “an extremely traumatic week.”

He then “apologised for the stress family and friends have caused.”

“I just settle into the reality of the situation. I’m trying to connect and make sure my family is okay,” Seb continued.

“I’m not going to comment on the situation because it’s ongoing and I don’t want to hinder that process.

“I just focus on the manageable, forging a new daily routine, exercising 2 to 4 hours a day, what I eat.

“I’m starting to battle my ADHD and all my other mental health issues,” Seb explains.

“Maybe a little bit of trauma or rewiring, which could be positive.

“I will overcome this hurdle, it is a period of growth and healing and I will continue to live.”

The former reality star turned OnlyFans performer walked out of custody on Friday after allegedly trafficking more than a kilogram of methamphetamine.

Seb was released on bail after being arrested for alleged drug trafficking.

The prosecution was not against bail for house arrest, with magistrate Simon Smart ordering Guilhaus to wear an electronic monitoring device on his release from the Adelaide Remand Centre.

He is also prohibited from consuming illegal substances and must present for random drug testing.

Relatives filled the courtroom but declined to comment outside.

Seb has yet to plead charges of trafficking in a commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

He was arrested last week at his home in Croydon, with SA police reportedly seizing nearly 1 kilogram of methamphetamine with a street value of around $90,000.

Following their split in 2021, Guilhaus was named one of Adelaide’s most eligible singles.

Guilhaus previously worked as a personal trainer before joining the subscription-based adult website OnlyFans and starting a career as a pornographic actor.

One of his latest OnlyFans projects was a collaboration with fellow MAFS star Hayley Vernon, who has also transitioned into porn since appearing on the show.

Detective Billy Thompson, the major and organized crime officer responsible for the July drug bust, described the 870 grams of meth found as “significant.”

“Methamphetamine causes terrible harm to users and our communities,” he said.

“This seizure is a significant amount and would have a street value of approximately $90,000.

“Those who trade illegal drugs in these quantities do so purely out of their own greed, they have no regard for others.”

Before his stint on reality television, Guilhaus played 48 games in the South Australia National Football League, scoring 15 goals.
