Married At First Sight’s ex-girlfriend Mishel Karen has become one of Australia’s best-known OnlyFans stars over the past two years.
But the 51-year-old has revealed that many of the celebrity creators on the platform don’t actually have their own account or personally communicate with their subscribers.
Reacting to the news that Australian rapper Iggy Azalea was making a lot of money after joining the platform, Mishel told Daily Mail Australia that people shouldn’t assume OnlyFans is “easy money”.

“I think people think it’s easy money and maybe it is if you’re a big name, but it takes work and a lot of time to build a good relationship with your fans,” Grandma said.
“Although I don’t think many people manage their own OnlyFans, they do have admins that reply to messages etc,” he continued.
“Which I think defeats the purpose of OnlyFans as it is a place where your fans can talk to you personally, not someone from a call center. I guess I’m old school!
A mother of two, Mishel spends hours every day answering subscriber messages and filming requests for custom content.

He also revealed just how explicit he predicts Iggy’s account to be following reports that some fans of the hitmaker Fancy were disappointed that his content wasn’t explicit enough.
‘I think [Iggy’s account] there will be some topless photos and maybe some suggestive posts,’ Mishel mused.
“It takes a while to get up the courage to post a masturbation video or a photo with your legs spread. I started only with bikinis and then some boobs. I think most people don’t just start with a sex tape!’
