Married At First Sight’s John Aiken reveals ‘sickening twist’ set to rock 2025 series: ‘Never done before’

Married At First Sight 2025 will take things to a whole new level with a breathtaking twist that has already left the contestants of next year’s series reeling.

Ny Breaking Australia can reveal that season 12 will be rocked by a shocking new task that completely blindsided the cast, leaving them questioning their decision to appear on the show.

Sources close to the show reveal that the challenge was introduced in the early morning hours before the show ended.

Cast members were woken up, separated from their partners and handed an envelope containing a cryptic invitation to take part in what was described as a ‘f**ked up’ task.

Each participant had to make their own decision, completely unaware of what their partner would choose.

Speaking to Ny Breaking Australia on the Channel Nine Upfronts on Thursday, pundit John Aiken cryptically teased the dramatic twist.

“We can’t give you exactly what it is, but what we can say is with Married At First Sight, what we always try to do is give the viewers something different,” he shared.

‘And also the participants, they don’t know what’s coming. This year, as the end draws near and they’re about to make a big decision about final vows, we’re presenting them with a challenge that no one has ever seen them do before.”

“None of us knew what to think,” an insider told Ny Breaking Australia.

“When we opened those envelopes, it was clear that this was something completely different from anything we had ever seen on the show.”

The twist has already caused chaos among the participants.

Some refused to go through with it outright, drew a line in the sand and stood their ground.

Those who decided to participate faced arguments with other participants, with some immediately regretting their decision.

‘Some participants were visibly shocked. They didn’t sign up for this, and you could see it in their faces when they realized what was at stake,” a source close to production said.

“Others seemed determined to press on, even if they weren’t sure it was the right move.”
