He said he was shocked by the 32-year-old Melinda’s claims that everyone thought Harrison and Bronte’s relationship was not genuine.

“I just wanted a little more clarity on where Bronte was, how he’s feeling, and whether or not we would continue after the experiment,” he said.

Bronte collapsed to the floor sobbing as her fellow girlfriend Lyndall Grace tried to comfort her.

Despite appearing together at the couples retreat, it seemed that accusations by 32-year-old Melinda Willis (left) that their relationship was ‘fake’ shook the builder to the core.

He continued: “Bronte got upset and said, ‘I want to go home.’ For me, that was the moment that ended our relationship.’

It comes after Bronte was left in tears during Monday night’s episode when her co-stars accused Harrison of “emotionally manipulating” her.

The bubbly brunette was caught up in tense scenes at the NSW Southern Highlands retreat where Claire Nomarhas gave her a stern warning.

Claire, 31, accused Harrison of trying to “emotionally manipulate her” and Bronte responded by saying the other girlfriends were just jealous.
