Married At First Sight UK will feature the franchise’s very first trans bride.
On Wednesday, the bosses announced the show’s upcoming lineup for the season and revealed that transgender beauty Ella, 29, will walk down the aisle.
Ella, who billed herself as a “blonde bombshell with a sense of humor and a heart of gold,” said of being the show’s first trans bride: “This experiment is much more than just me getting married… I see this as a big problem. for someone who has gone through a transition.’
Ella is joined this season by fellow brides Tasha, Shona, Rosaline, Porsha, Peggy, Laura and Jay, and grooms Thomas, Terence, Paul, Nathanial, Luke, Georges, Brad and Arthur. the couples.
The upcoming season will be the longest MAFS UK season ever, with 36 episodes tying together the romances of the blindly matched couples.

All this and much more will culminate in a dramatic series finale: high-stakes glossy vow renewals, where each couple must decide whether to recommit to their partner or go their separate ways for good.
The pairs are matched and mentored by returning experts Mel Schilling, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas.
It comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed that the upcoming season of MAFS Australia will introduce the first same-sex couple since marriage was legalized in 2017.
The show’s previous records with LGBTQ+ representation have been shaky, to say the least.
An insider emphasized: ‘It’s important to get this right. We don’t just add diversity for the sake of diversity, but to truly represent the many colors of love.”
