But for Married At First Sight bride Ellie Dix, the reaction after falling in love with her co-star Jono McCullough seems to be the least of her worries.
On Wednesday, the 33-year-old former cosmetic nurse announced on social media that the couple’s hair is turning gray as they shared a new selfie together.
“In our retirement era, @jono.mccullough were just a few gray nomads (really, my roots are showing,” Ellie cheekily captioned the photo.

Ellie recently quit her job before embarking on a national road trip with Jono.

In a dramatic episode, 32-year-old Lauren demanded to see Jono’s iPhone, only to discover he had texted Ellie hundreds of times after she left the experiment.
“You contacted her. These don’t just relay information that happened the night before, this is more than that. My stomach dropped,” Lauren told Jono.

Jono insisted the couple were ‘so happy’, while Ellie said she felt like she had won ‘Married At First Sight’.
