Married At First Sight’s Duncan finally confirms that he’s broken up with Alyssa and admits that the single mom won’t even return his messages.
Duncan James and Alyssa Barmonde of Married At First Sight have called it quits.
Duncan, 36, confirmed the sad news at the unofficial MAFS meeting hosted by Fitzy & Wippa from Nova FM at the Grounds of Alexandria restaurant this week.
“During the week I contacted Alyssa to see how she was doing,” he told Nova host Kate Ritchie.
“I said I’d be there for her and have a phone call, or if there was anything I could do to help I would, but I didn’t get a response.”
Duncan and Alyssa started out as one of the strongest couples in the experiment.

Duncan told Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa that Alyssa (pictured) hasn’t responded to his messages and isn’t currently speaking to him.
But this week, Daily Mail Australia revealed that the cybersecurity sales director is set to brutally expel the mother-of-one in her final vows.
According to a spy on set, Alyssa was left in tears when Duncan surprised her by revealing his decision to walk away from their relationship.
The lovesick bride is understood to be heartbroken that she was “hooked” when it seemed the producers knew Duncan had no intention of staying by her side.
A source close to the devastated bride revealed: “Alyssa just didn’t understand why she was hooked.”
‘Alyssa knew that things were never going to work out with Duncan, no matter how much he wanted to. They both live different lives.

Daily Mail Australia understands that Alyssa and Duncan have only texted “once or twice” since filming for the show wrapped, and things are worse than imagined.
“They’re not even talking about terms right now,” another source blurted out.
“They both agreed that it was best not to do joint interviews and not even pretend to be together.”
Despite the odds stacked against them, Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton and Melinda Willis and Layton Mills are the only two MAFS couples to continue their relationship outside of the experiment.
