Married at First Sight Caitlin McClonville has introduced a dramatic new look after swapping her signature golden locks for a jet black “hairstyle.”
The 27-year-old makeup artist surprised fans Monday after uploading two photos of herself looking completely unrecognizable with long raven-black hair.
The footage showed Caitlin pouting at the camera as she sat on the floor of her home in a blue strapless dress.
Exploiting my potential to “reach a higher level,” she captioned the post.
Caitlin’s fellow Married At First Sight brides were over the moon with her makeover, with co-star Janelle Han noting, “Omfg, I’m literally yelling at my phone,” while Bronte Schofield added, “This was THE move.” ‘

The post’s caption referenced a cheeky comment made by her MAFS “husband” Shannon Bennett on the show about how he wasn’t attracted to her.
During the show’s photo challenge, Shannon told Caitlin that she had “the potential to just level up” if she stopped wearing so much makeup.
“Their natural beauty shines more than yours,” he said, referring to the brides he found more attractive than his own wife.

In an infamous scene, personal trainer Shannon told Caitlin that she didn’t look “pretty” enough for him.
At their last wedding ceremony, relationship expert John Aiken asked Shannon, “Why did you feel the need to say all those things to Caitlin?”
‘I don’t really have an answer for you… I just said them to hurt her. I’m really sorry I did this. I’m gutted,” he replied.
“I’m really sorry, but I want to stay,” Shannon added, before confirming his decision to stay in the experiment.
An irate Caitlin said she was fed up with his empty excuses and “cruel” behavior.

She told him, “We can’t keep moving forward on the premise of ‘I’ll own it,’ but without action to make it better.” It’s an apology followed by anger and aggression, and defensive behavior – not an apology that is carried out.
“This isn’t what I wanted, and if I’m being honest, if I could do it all over again with someone else, I would. I deserve that chance, but this man doesn’t deserve me. So I’m leaving.’
While Shannon seemed shocked by Caitlin’s decision, John, the other experts, and the other MAFS couples all applauded her.
