Married At First Sight’s Alyssa Barmonde and Josh White ‘are now dating’

Alyssa Barmonde and Josh White of Married At First Sight are reportedly dating after breaking up with their respective partners on the show earlier this year.

Mother-of-one Alyssa, 35, and Josh, 41, were spotted on a double date with Tahnee Cook and her partner Ollie Skelton over the weekend.

Photos obtained by Daily Mail Australia show the pair posing for photos alongside their co-stars at Old Mate’s Place in Sydney’s CBD.

An anonymous source close to the pair said they have decided to “see where they go.”

They were also recently seen together at a movie night and were joined by their children.

While it’s still early days for Alyssa and Josh, friends are excited to see the pair explore their connection.

“They’re both really sweet and I really hope it works out, they’re a match.” Josh was convinced he would be matched with Alyssa when the Daily Mail leaked the cast photos last year,” a source said.

Both Alyssa and Josh share children with their ex-partners.

When asked which groom she preferred during a recent Instagram Q&A, she said, “Josh is the most kind-hearted person I’ve ever met in my entire life. He’s one of those people you just call to check on you.’

She continued, “We get along really well. He wasn’t on MAFS very long, but we caught up a few times. Josh knows I love him very much.”

And Josh doesn’t hold back either. He confessed that if he could turn back time, Alyssa would be his bride of choice for another attempt at the MAFS experiment.

Fans will recall that Alyssa was originally paired with cybersecurity sales director Duncan James, while Josh was paired with the vivacious Melissa Sheppard.

The road to love was not smooth sailing for either couple, with Josh and Melissa calling it quits midway through the series, while Alyssa was dumped by Duncan at final vows.

Duncan has now moved on with Evelyn Ellis, the show’s “hottest bride ever.”
