Married at first sight: why Mel Schilling would rather travel 23 hours from London to Sydney than live in Australia
She has made a name for herself in Britain after moving to London with her husband and their daughter to star in the UK version of Married At First Sight in 2021.
And relationship expert Mel Schilling has decided to leave Australia for good, despite returning for season 11 of the Australian version of the dating show, which is currently filming in Sydney.
Instead of returning to Down Under, Mel flies between Sydney and London so she can be closer to her family during production breaks.
A friend close to the reality TV star says Mel is “quite happy and content with her new life in Britain and doesn’t see the need to move back to Oz anytime soon.”
According to the source, Mel puts her family first and while jet-setting between the two continents may seem like a daunting task for many, it’s not for her.
