Married At First Sight stars Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding reveal why their season was much better

Married At First Sight stars Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding reveal why their season fared so much better than the 2023 series, and what producers need to do to save the show.

Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding have some thoughts on the 2023 season of Married At First Sight.

The former reality stars, who appeared on the show in 2022, say their series was better because the contestants were in lockdown.

Filmed in 2021, the ninth season was in production during the lockdowns due to the Covid pandemic, and the pair believe that the producers can salvage future seasons by keeping the contestants in isolation.

“Our season was so good because we were actually in lockdown. Our rules were much stricter. We had security guards at our gate,” Ella said. yahoo lifestyle.

“MAFS, they must be locked up, the stories remain, everything happens on camera,” he added.

Domenica agreed: “It sounds crazy when you’re in it, but look how it turned into good TV.”

She suggested that the show take a break from being on the air to ‘freshen up’ and Domenica agreed.

“If they come back next year, I’d like to see them living in different places and only coming together for dinner,” Domenica said.

It comes after Dom called out season ten girlfriend Lyndall Grace for trying to unfairly endear himself to her co-stars.

The 28-year-old revealed on her Sit With Us podcast that Lyndall’s behavior on MAFS ‘fucks’ her up and she sees it as dishonest.

‘I see Lyndall playing the victim. Like, “Oh, he didn’t want to hug me.” B**ch he go and get a fucking pillow,’ she said.

‘Lyndall bugs me and I don’t know why. I just don’t trust her,” he added.

Domenica went on to say that 28-year-old Bronte Schofield was also guilty of the same behavior.

Co-host Ella, 28, said the antics of the cast on this year’s MAFS season had prevented her from enjoying the show.

“I just don’t take the whole cast seriously. I literally can’t watch this year’s MAFS season,” she said.
