Married at First Sight star Tahnee Cook finds shock item belonging to another woman in the house she shared with ex-Ollie Skelton after their bombshell split

Former Married at First Sight bride Tahnee Cook has shared heartbreaking details about her divorce from her TV husband Ollie Skelton.

In December, Ollie and Tahnee, both 28, stunned fans by taking a closer look at their relationship after 16 months of dating.

The bride told Nova’s Back to Reality Podcast that the former couple, who had moved in together, had to live together for six weeks after the breakup due to the ongoing rental crisis.

‘There was obviously a period where we had to live together while we separated, which is hell, I would never recommend that to anyone. But you know, there is a rental crisis, there is a lot going on,” she told hosts Taku Chimwaza and Selina Chhaur.

Tahnee further revealed that following the breakup, she was “hurt” after finding earrings that weren’t hers.

‘I had returned from a business trip and was cleaning the house. And I found a pair of earrings in the house that weren’t mine. I obviously confronted him about it,” she said.

‘It’s hard when you break up and assume that people will move on at the pace they feel comfortable with. I think I was quite shocked at how fast it was.”

She added that she felt uncomfortable when “randoms” returned to her home.

‘I hate to say it, but we are in the public eye. I don’t know who these random people in my room are. What if they touch my stuff and take pictures? That’s the main problem I had because I’m quite protective of my home.’

Tahnee and Ollie, who first fell in love on Channel Nine’s matchmaking show, announced their split on Instagram in December.

The couple shocked their fans and friends alike, saying that their “lives take us in different directions” but that they wanted to remain “friends.”

Tahnee shared a lengthy post on her Instagram page saying that she had “truly found love” with the voice actor, but it just wasn’t meant to be.

“Just as I share the highlights of my life here, it’s only fair for me to share when things aren’t always fun,” she wrote.

Unfortunately, Ollie and I have decided to part ways. Our lives are taking us in different directions and we feel this is the best decision for us at this stage.

“From meeting as strangers who are ‘married,’ to genuinely finding love, I’m pretty proud of the time we’ve shared.”

Ollie also shared his own message about the breakup, confirming that the couple did indeed go their separate ways.

“Tahnee and I broke up. It’s sad, but it’s okay. What a ride! A journey full of love, laughter, challenges and, this past month, reflection,” he wrote.
