Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson reveals how a producer made her ‘feel uncomfortable’ during a bed scene on her wedding night to Cameron Merchant

Jules Robinson has revealed how a Married At First Sight producer made her ‘feel uncomfortable’ during her time on the show.

The reality TV star shared Jess Rowe’s big talk show podcast this week that the unnamed producer told her and husband Cameron Merchant how to behave during a bed scene on their wedding night.

‘Channel Nine has always been great to me and I haven’t set them on fire in any way… but then we got back to our hotel room after our wedding night and it was very romantic with the whole set crew, like we were filming ourselves in bed’ , she said.

“The producer, who wasn’t normally our producer, was just kind of sexual and said, ‘Okay, now kiss and do this.’ And you know, it made me really uncomfortable.”

She said she whispered to Cam that she “didn’t feel good about this,” and he immediately confronted the crew.

“He just got out of bed and crossed his arms. Okay, we’re done. Everyone out. Like we had a big day. And in my head I thought, “He’s my six-foot-tall husband. Look at him go!”

Jules and Cameron fell in love in front of the cameras during series six of MAFS in 2019 before getting married for real in November that year.

They currently live on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, in a coastal area they bought for $1.8 million in 2020.

The couple also have a smaller investment property in Dee Why’s Grand Reef complex, which Cam bought in 2014 long before he met Jules.

The couple welcomed son Oliver in September 2020 and in March Jules announced she was expecting her second child.

She shared the happy news in an interview with Stellar magazinein which she said that she and Cameron couldn’t be happier after several years of trying to conceive.

‘We’ve been trying since our son Ollie was one and he’s now three and a half. We went into 2024 thinking, “If it doesn’t happen, we’ll look at IVF,” she explained.

“But I never lost faith that my body could do this again.”

Jules revealed that she is 20 weeks pregnant and that this pregnancy has been easier than her first for several surprising reasons.

‘When I was first pregnant, I didn’t like all the attention and negativity from horrible people about my body.

‘This time it was really wonderful. I can’t hide it anymore. I’m puffed. It was nice to keep it between family and friends this time and a bit more private.’
