Married At First Sight star Josh White, 41, is keen to return to reality TV as an adult bachelor despite a disastrous stint on Channel Nine’s dating show
Married At First Sight star Josh White wants to be the next bachelor.
However, instead of appearing in the regular series, White would like to star in the new American spin-off The Golden Bachelor, which has a much more mature age range.
Josh, 41, failed to find love on the most recent series Married At First Sight after being paired with Melissa Sheppard.
But despite feeling “disempowered” on television by his on-screen wife, who was self-proclaimed as a “freak in the sheets,” he would like to give reality TV another chance.
On Friday, the father-of-two answered some questions from fans on his Instagram story.

One asked if he would consider doing reality television again.

Last month, the singleton won the Logie Awards for playing a “disheartening” clip of him from the popular reality show.
He shared his disgust on 2DAY FM’s popular show, Hughesy, Ed and Erinfollowing an Instagram post in which he expressed bewilderment at the choice of content.

The clip in question was the controversial moment when his on-screen wife Melissa questioned his manhood.
“It was kind of rude to highlight a certain clip of mine in the first nomination for the award,” he exclaimed on his Instagram story.
“If the heart of the show is love, wouldn’t it be a more appropriate choice to highlight the two couples who made it to the end?”
The MAFS groom confessed to the radio hosts that it was a hard pill to swallow when he saw that scene on TV again, especially given the show’s mandate to help people find true love.
“When I put the kids to bed, I missed the clip, but got a text from Rupert (Bugden) that they had shown a clip of me,” he said.

“It was quite shocking. The essence of the show is to discover love with a stranger,” he said.
“There were two beautiful couples who kept it up all the way through, so why not applaud them instead of showing an incredibly disparaging scene?”
Josh questioned the need for him and Mellissa to be reminded of that difficult period, which turned out to be a difficult time for both of them.
“It was strange to hear the live audience react to the footage,” he said at the time.
“It was rather ill-mannered to highlight a certain snippet of mine in the first nomination for the award,” he wrote on his Instagram story
