Married At First Sight star Drew Brauer announces engagement to girlfriend Sam Clark: ‘I’ve never known such happiness’
Drew Brauer may not have managed to find love on Married At First Sight, but away from the cameras it’s a different story.
The reality star, who appeared in the hit Channel Nine series in the 2020 season, has announced his engagement to girlfriend Sam Clark.
Drew and Sam took to Instagram on Sunday to share the happy news with a series of romantic photos.
One photo showed the happy couple cuddling close as Sam held up a beautiful diamond sparkler.
She beamed widely in another photo that showed off her striking engagement ring, this time with happily cuddling baby Rex, who the couple welcomed into the world in July.
A third image showed a close-up of Sam’s hand, again showing the ring, while Drew could be seen in the background with a comically shocked expression.

Another photo showed the happy couple moments after Drew popped the question.
The look on Sam’s face suggested that she was overcome with emotion after accepting the proposal.
The sweet carousel was supplemented with photos that suggested Drew had enlisted the help of a household blackboard to aid in his successful proposal attempt.
“Is it okay if I call you mine from now on?” Like I could ever stop,” Drew captioned the footage.
‘I surprised Sam with a massage on Christmas Eve that had a very happy ending.’
His effusive tribute continued: “How can a bunch of words ever come close to expressing my feelings for you.”
‘I have never felt so uncontrollably attracted to something in my life. Wow! I have never known such happiness or felt so happy.’
Drew added that his growing family had caused his heart to “triple in size.”

‘You and Rex are my whole world and my home. I love you and our little family more than I ever knew. I feel like my heart has tripled in size and continues to expand as I get to know you better.”
Drew closed the post by revealing the quirky nickname he has for his fiancée.
“There are many fish in the ocean, but I choose you to be my blobfish,” he wrote.
“Thank you for choosing to experience what this life has to offer alongside me.”
The post received a flood of comments from friends and followers, including Drew’s finances himself, who revealed his words had moved her to tears.
“Now that I read that, I’m a ‘chattering’ mess again,” Sam replied. ‘I love you! Thank you for choosing to live with me.”
‘I am so incredibly happy with the life and family we have created so far. I often cry when I think about it.’ Really grateful to you both xxx.”
Former Hi-5 star Nathan Foley also jumped in with: “Congratulations guys.”
She beamed widely in another photo that showed off her statement engagement ring as she cuddled baby Rex, who the couple welcomed into the world in July.
Drew has been in a relationship with Samantha, better known by her stage name KAWEYOVA, for almost three years.
The couple met shortly after Drew’s appearance on Married At First Sight, in which he tied the knot with professional dancer KC Osborne.
The pair decided to stay together in the finale despite a tumultuous relationship, but split shortly after filming.
KC briefly dated fellow MAFS star Michael Goonan before falling in love with current fiancée Blake Spriggs.
She welcomed her first child, a son named Brooklyn, with Blake in October.
Meanwhile, Drew and Sam welcomed their first child, Rex Kelai, in July.
The couple took to Instagram to announce his arrival, sharing a sweet photo of the newborn and revealing in the caption that he had arrived early.
“Our boy decided to come to Earthside earlier than expected,” Sam wrote.

‘On July 3 at around 10.26pm he entered this world after a very long and difficult labour. More than thirty hours of work and more than an hour of pushing.’
Sam added that the long labor meant little Rex had to spend some time in a special care unit.
“Because my waters broke early and I was in labor for over 30 hours, the baby had to stay in the special care unit for a few nights to monitor his health,” Sam wrote.
‘It has been busy for him and for us as parents since his arrival, hence the late announcement. Things are finally starting to settle down and we are enjoying our little love bubble with our little man.”
