Fans of Married At First Sight are pointing out the stark difference between the brides in the Australian and British versions of the popular reality show.
Relationship expert Melanie Brisbane-Schilling, who stars in both versions of the dating series, shared the bridal selection for the new British series on Instagram on Monday.
However, viewers pointed out in the comments that the British brides of 2024 are much more recognisable than the Australian cast.
“So beautiful and so nice to see more recognizable ‘normal’ women in this series,” someone wrote.
“Finally some normal looking women! Exciting,” another added, while someone else commented, “Normal looking women,” alongside red love heart emojis.
A fourth said: ‘Great to see so many naturally beautiful brides who are so relatable. Can’t wait to watch!’
‘Yay! So nice to see more diverse body shapes etc. this year! All such beautiful brides,’ wrote another.
Eight brides will feature in the upcoming UK season hoping to find the love of their lives when they meet their husbands at the altar.

While a release date has yet to be confirmed, season four of MAFS UK will return to E4 soon with experts Mel, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas.
The cast for the new installment of the show includes a beauty pageant queen and the show’s first deaf contestant.
Meanwhile, it looks like the 2025 MAFS Australia season will be more explosive than ever.
Ny Breaking Australia has revealed that the new batch of intruders have been drafted into filming next year’s series under one strict condition: that there be drama.
To make the experiment as chaotic as possible, the producers introduce a number of new participants to the experiment after three couples abruptly quit.
They have each been carefully selected for their potential to cause a stir among the existing couples.

Ny Breaking Australia recently reported that recently single golfer Clint Rice is set to shake up the 2025 series when he ties the knot as a provocative groom.
Clint hails from Launceston, Tasmania, but recently ended his long-term relationship, paving the way for his appearance on the popular reality show.
Friends of the golfer describe him as ‘super relaxed and down to earth’, someone known for his eloquent nature and always up for a fun evening.
His easy-going nature, combined with a penchant for mischief, will undoubtedly provide some unexpected twists in the 2025 series, which is already in full production.

Along with newcomer Clint, Teejay Halkias and Beth Kelly provide some extra excitement, having already tied the knot on Tuesday in scenes that were filmed.
The new additions come after a casting chaos that saw three couples drop out very early in the filming process.
Season 12, currently filming in Sydney, has already lost six contestants in the first two weeks of filming, with the intruders warned to just sit it out.
