Married At First Sight alum Tracey Jewel reveals shocking secret health struggle as she shares worrying photos from her hospital bed
Former Married At First Sight star Tracey Jewel has been hospitalized as she battles a mystery illness.
The 40-year-old businesswoman herself shared two photos on social media on Friday, showing her with a plaster around her neck and a respirator over her nose and mouth.
She captioned the photos, “A reminder to slow down.”
The mother of two added that she hasn’t been able to share her health journey yet because she hasn’t confirmed what’s ailing her.
‘I lost no less than 12 kilos in less than a month and ended up in hospital with pneumonia. Now I am undergoing biopsies and tests and waiting for the results,” she explained.

‘For the first time in a long time I have a break. I create space to just be and not do. It will be hard to realize that we are worth it, no matter what happens and what we do.”
The reality TV star signed off with “I’ll keep you posted,” followed by a love heart emoji.
Many of her 200,000 followers sent their well-wishes in the comment section of the post.
‘A timeout is needed. Rest. It is necessary and required. Otherwise you will burn out. The body, mind and soul benefit from it. You will benefit greatly from it,” said one.
“Sorry to hear this Tracey. I hope you find answers and get better soon. On a side note: epic PJs!’ said another fan, drawing attention to the Vegemite-themed pajamas Tracey was wearing in the second photo.
“Pour into your own cup first and foremost (and once it’s full it will overflow into others) xx will get better soon,” wrote another.

“Trauma can sneak up on you. Over the course of the past year (2022) I found myself falling into a deep hole of depression and anxiety,” she wrote alongside a black and white photo of herself cuddling baby Frankie.
“I withdrew from friends, reduced my circle to very few, drowned myself in work and showed up, faking it.
“I stopped doing the things that brought me joy and self-care, like getting my hair and eyelashes done, getting dressed and even exercising.”
Tracey went on to say that the worst part of her struggle was feeling like no one noticed when she “disappeared.”
She said she kept her struggles hidden as she threw herself into work and raising her son Frankie, two (left), and 10-year-old daughter Grace.
“What made this sadder is the disappearance of what I felt from the world around me, no one noticed. I equated that with no one caring. And deeper I went into my hole,” she explained.
Fortunately, there seemed to be a happy ending in sight for the self-care coach as she assured her followers that she is “slowly but surely rebuilding.”
Tracey welcomed her son Frankie in March 2021 with her high school sweetheart Constable.
