Marrickville stabbing: Man allegedly stabs brother and mother
A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing his mother and brother in inner Sydney.
Paramedics were called to Sydenham Road in Marrickville just before 6pm where they found the two family members with stab wounds near Marrickville High School.
Jackyy Dang, 22, was arrested at the scene and taken to Newtown Police Station.
His 25-year-old brother was reportedly found with stab wounds to his neck, face, head and back, while his 55-year-old mother was reportedly stabbed in the throat.
Yang has been charged with two counts of causing wounding/grievous bodily harm to persons with intent to murder.

The brother was seen with blood pouring from his head as he was taken to an ambulance.
He is now fighting for his life at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where the mother’s condition is serious.
