Mark Zuckerberg sports two black eyes after recent MMA sparring session ‘got a little out of hand’

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg posted an image on his Instagram account showing himself with two black eyes and a bruised nose after a workout.
Zuckerberg captioned the photo: “The sparring got a little out of hand. Maybe I should update my avatar.’
Since the Covid-19 lockdown, Zuckerberg has become known for his affinity for Mixed Martial Arts and at one point was rumored to be preparing for an MMA fight against X chief Elon Musk, but the noise surrounding the potential fight is became incredibly quiet.
Zuckerberg’s photo also caught the attention of some well-known professionals from the MMA world.
Former ONE Championship middleweight and light heavyweight titleholder Aung La Nsang responded to Zuckerberg’s photo, saying, “Maybe you should keep your hands up Mark.”

The rumored MMA fight between Zuckerberg and Elon Musk seems unlikely

Zuckerberg competed in a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament in California earlier this year and managed to take home two medals.
The 39-year-old has also previously trained with some of the best MMA fighters in the world, such as ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya.
While it seems unlikely that the proposed ‘The Battle of the Billionaires’ will happen, UFC president Dana White recently spoke about the hypothetical fight, claiming that any charities that received donations from the fight would be real winners.
“Let me tell you who would win in that fight: whatever charities were chosen to donate the money to,” White added.
“They would be the absolute winners, because I think that thing would generate a billion dollars in revenue, and they wanted 90 percent of the money to go to charity.”
