Mark Zuckerberg may be training for an MMA fight, but the Meta founder says he still has cheat meals.
Zuckerberg, who trained with UFC stars Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya last month — and is preparing for a potential fight with tech rival Elon Musk — said on Threads that he needs about 4,000 calories a day from his workout routine.
And the 39-year-old has fueled herself at the golden arches with a mammoth order.
“20 nuggets, quarter pounder, large fries, Oreo McFlurry, apple pie, and maybe some cheeseburgers for later?” he said of his order from McDonald’s on Threads.
The revelation prompted UFC fighter Mike David to speak out against Zuckerberg’s diet.

In a side-by-side comparison, Elon Musk has a size advantage, but is 11 years older than Zuck
“You’re in camp! No McDonalds,” he wrote.
But the billionaire claimed he needed the calories – while admitting that the food was also just plain tasty.
“Not losing weight, so I need ~4,000 calories a day to make up for all the activity.” And it’s so delicious,’ he said.
Zuckerberg appeared to agree with Musk’s proposal of a “cage match” in June, telling the Tesla founder to “send me the location.”
It’s unclear if the fight will actually take place, though Zuckerberg appears to be taking his training seriously.
He looked ripped in a post-workout workout photo with Volkanovski and Adesanya, the former giving Zuckerberg rave reviews after training with him.
“I guarantee you, you would be very surprised,” he said TMZ.
‘I’m telling you he’s serious. I don’t know how serious Elon is, but I’m telling you, he’s training!’
“I mean, you can see he’s in shape, but he’s really in shape,” Volkanovski added. “It’s not just looks, it really is, mate. He’s training, he’s quite athletic, he’s coordinated and he’s dedicated.’
Zuckerberg even went the extra mile in his training by building an octagon in his backyard – much to the dismay of his wife, Priscilla Chan.

Musk had a grueling training session with Georges St Pierre (red shorts) earlier in July.
In an Instagram post, Zuckerberg showed off a WhatsApp messaging between the pair – with the billionaire saying the constructed ring “looks amazing.”
Chan disagreed and responded by saying, “I worked on that grass for two years.”
For his part, Musk also endured a few grueling sessions with Georges St. Pierre, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters in MMA history.
And if the fight does happen, UFC boss Dana White would expect to promote it.
“It would break all pay-per-view records,” he told TMZ.
