A clumsy Mark Zuckerberg looks awkwardly out of place in a hilarious viral clip from UFC 298 on Saturday night.
Zuckerberg shocked fans by appearing in Alexander Volkanovski’s corner in California, where he walked into the Octagon with the Australian featherweight and his team ahead of his fight against Ilia Topuria.
The Facebook founder, who himself trains in mixed martial arts and even battled fellow billionaire Elon Musk last year, could only watch as Volkanovski suffered a knockout defeat to Topuria that evening.
But before the competition started, Zuckerberg appeared to be ignored by his fellow corner members in a very awkward moment that went viral online.
As Volkanovski strips off his tracksuit and prepares to enter the Octagon, footage from UFC 298 shows Zuckerberg looking like a fish out of water as he nods his head to the music in the arena.

In a hilarious clip that has gone viral online, Zuckerberg awkwardly nods along to the music while being ignored by members of Alexander Volkanovski’s team.
He then tries and fails three times to help grab some of Volkanovski’s clothes, while other members of the team blank his outstretched hand each time.
Fans were highly amused by the Meta chefs’ embarrassing moment, with one person writing on X: ‘He looks like it’s his first day at school.’
Another commented: “Poor Zuck, like no one seems to notice him.”
A third said: ‘Buddy is nervous as hell being in front of all those cameras trying to look normal.’
“Shaking his head to music *laughing emoji*,” wrote another.
While people simply said: ‘Boy out of his element’.
Zuckerberg could be seen cheering as the fight progressed, beaming with excitement as he watched Volkanovski compete in what was his 30th career fight.
However, he turned out not to be a lucky charm, as his man was eliminated in the second round of the main event in Anaheim.

Zuckerberg is completely immersed in training MMA and tore his cruciate ligament during training at the end of last year.
He was looking forward to a return to the cage in September after revealing his recovery was going ‘well’ after surgery, but he could not stay away from the sport during his competitive absence.
The 39-year-old lives in California, the host state where the event was held in Anaheim on Saturday evening.
He wasn’t just involved with Volkanovski on fight night, with bantamweight Georgian Merab Dvalishvili chatting to him in the front row as he put Henry Cejudo in a stranglehold at the end of the penultimate round of his victory.
