Mark Zuckerberg goes from Mr Steal Your Data to Mr Steal Your Girl in an attempt to reinvent himself amid the fall of Facebook… complete with chains, fur coats and friends in the UFC

A celebrity walks into the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 300 wearing a loose white top, a gold chain and flanked by UFC chief Dana White and actor Jared Leto.

We’re not describing a rapper, NFL player or movie star – this was Mark Zuckerberg last week.

At 39, the billionaire Facebook founder is undergoing a midlife makeover.

Known for his skinny, pale, sandal-wearing appearance, Zuckerberg is now reinventing himself with fur coats, diamond chains and a ripped body.

Zuckerberg peaked Thursday when he posted a video showing off Meta’s AI technology, sporting a scruffy, bearded look.

The audience responded overwhelmingly to Zuckerberg’s AI-generated look, with one person saying, “(He) went from Mr. Steal Your Data to Mr. Steal Your Girl.”

In the late 2010s, Zuckerberg was public enemy number one, remembering criticism in Congress over data scandals and the sale of data and personal information of as many as 87 million users to companies.

He was pale, looked sick, and was often uncomfortable. He wore a simple T-shirt and jeans, and most of his photos on social media were of just him and his family.

Now he hangs out with fighters, women find him attractive, he hangs out with right-wingers like White and other UFC fighters despite being a Democratic mega-donor.

At the same time, Facebook is suffering for his role in January Congress hearing on child safety and allegations that the social media platform is negatively impacting children’s mental health.

But instead of focusing on Meta’s first quarter earnings report and bringing Facebook back to its former glory or the new Meta AI app, Zuckerberg is being recognized for a fake photo posted online.

Facebook recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, which has had its ups and downs and many scandals.

Heather Munoz recently visited ‘Zuck”s Instagram page to see the social media site’s progress, but she was shocked to discover the opposite.

“I came here to see what Mark is doing in the future of social media and all I see are a bunch of posts about his favorite things,” Munoz shared on the site.

“Shouldn’t Mark think like a CEO at least some of the time?”

Another user commented on one of his photos, saying, “I love that Mark has time for this. In the meantime, my twenty-year-old Facebook profile and company page have been hacked and Meta has helped me zero percent in getting it back under my control.’

But it seems like Zuckerberg’s appearance seems to be more important than the suspicious light shining on his platforms.

From the awkward student who invented Facebook in his dorm room at Harvard University to the bodybuilding UFC fighter he has become today, Zuckerberg’s transformation has been nothing short of astonishing.

Zuckerberg shared an update on Instagram last week about Meta’s AI technology, showing an edited image of himself with a scruffy beard and tanned skin that many people thought was real.

Their shock at the change was palpable, with people focusing on the chain around his neck and his facial hair, while others simply referred to him as a ‘snack’.

It's been twenty years since Zuckerberg started Facebook, which went on to become the top social media platform. In recent years, Meta has come under fire for selling user data and contributing to the mental health crisis facing children.

The AI-generated image is in stark contrast to Meta’s clean-shaven CEO, who started donning fur coats and designer sweaters, leaving many people wondering if he had found a stylist.

Dressing “is so played out,” Andrew Weitz, a Los Angeles-based executive-style consultant, told the Wall Street Journal.

Executives are “better tailored, or what they wear is just different,” he said, adding, “They don’t want to look like everyone else.”

Zuckerberg impressed the masses when he showed off a shirtless photo with UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski last year before heading into the ring for training.

In the after, Adesanya wrote, “No fugazi with Mark. This is serious business‼️’

Silicon Valley is infamous for technology moguls who wore the more simplistic clothes and focused instead on their product, dating back to the days of Apple founder Steve Jobs.

Zuckerberg even went so far as to speak on this topic in 2014 Facebook forumin which he said he wore a T-shirt every day because “I really want to declutter my life so I have to make as few decisions as possible other than how to best serve this community.”

However, these simple shirts still cost the CEO about $300 each.

The look was meant to be synonymous with “a carefully constructed image and narrative used to reinforce its myths,” Venky Ganesan, a partner at venture capital firm Menlo Ventures, told the newspaper. New York Times.

There’s a myth that wearing a simple outfit means those who work in the tech world are focused on delivering an honest, well-thought-out and safe product, but Ganesan told the outlet, “The playbook is changing .’

In January, Meta’s CEO stood before Congress to address allegations that the social media platform had had a major impact on the mental health of young people, resulting in depression and in some cases their death.

During the hearing, Zuckerberg apologized to parents and families who said their children died because of social media issues.

“I’m sorry for everything you’ve all been through,” Zuckerberg said during the hearing.

“No one should have to experience the things your families have suffered, and this is why we have invested so much and will continue to make leading efforts to ensure that no one has to experience the things your families have experienced. families had to suffer.”

The Child Safety hearing wasn’t the first time Facebook has come under fire after it gained international attention for selling user data between 2011 and 2015 to more than 60 companies, including Nike, AOL, UPS and the dating app Hinge.

The question remains whether Zuckerberg can rebrand himself enough to rebrand his platform as the positive social media apps it launched in his small Harvard dorm room.
