Mark Wright and Spencer Matthews join forces for the first time ever as they land lucrative ambassador deal with Marks & Spencer despite TOWIE and Made In Chelsea rivalry

Mark Wright and Spencer Matthews have collaborated for the first time on a new fashion campaign for Marks & Spencer.

Given their names, the two are a good choice as brand ambassadors for the fashion brand, which is keen to attract younger men with its fashion collection.

The reality stars and former lotharios described their surprise collaboration as “the brand partnership you didn’t know you needed” in a funny video they posted to their social media accounts on Wednesday.

Spencer, 35, joked: “Since the first day I met you, I thought, ‘We should do a MRS ”Campaigning together.”

Speaking about the clothes they’re showing, Mark, 37, says: ‘We’ve worn it well, we’ve picked it well and this is for you.’

Spencer added: “Prepare to have your head blown off when you see all the clothes we show you.”

Mark and Spencer are perhaps the biggest stars of the reality TV revolution, having starred in ITV series TOWIE and E4 series Made In Chelsea before building their own long-lasting careers.

Their collaboration marks the latest deal M&S has secured as a celebrity brand ambassador following A-list star Sienna Miller’s clothing line.

A number of high-profile names have recently been announced as partnering with M&S Food, including Jamie Redknapp and Marvin Humes, as well as influencer and former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague.

Mark was previously interviewed by Spencer, where he explained that he is driven by money and that he is afraid of losing his fame and status after years of hard work.

Spencer admitted that he and Mark are equals, saying: “We’ve had a very similar journey to fame, and I think I’m the Chelsea version of him… In Mark’s words, we were men who just hated women.”

Before the duo settled down, Spencer and his wife Vogue Williams, with whom he has three children, and Mark and actress Michelle Keegan, they were known for their womanizing antics.

Mark dated former TOWIE co-stars Lucy Mecklenburgh and Sam Faiers, while Spencer took the Chelsea set by storm with her romances with Louise Thompson and Lucy Watson.

Mark married former Coronation Street star Michelle in 2015 and the couple live together in a country house in Essex that they built themselves.

Spencer and his wife Vogue met while filming the reality series The Jump and married in 2018. Together they have children Theodore, Gigi and Otto.

But since leaving their reality shows, the duo have evolved, both personally and professionally. Mark presents Extra TV in the US and stars in his own BBC travel series alongside his father and brother. Spencer launches his alcohol-free brand CleanCo and films his fly-on-the-wall show with his wife Vogue.

Spencer said: ‘Mark and I working together is absolutely brilliant and it makes me smile every time I think about it. We’ve had a really fun time working with M&S and this new activewear is amazing and everything I need from my gym clothes.’

Mark added: ‘M&S is such an iconic British brand and I’m thrilled to be joining the team and working with Spencer… it’s a real pinch-me moment.’
