Mark Wright has admitted that he puts pressure on himself to stay in shape, because he’s addicted to feeling fit and healthy.
The 36-year-old TV presenter spoke to MailOnline about his fitness, explaining: ‘I feel pressure in terms of myself. I am addicted to being fit and healthy.
‘If I get off the train, which sometimes I don’t care, but I get back on instantly because the feeling of feeling fit and healthy, for me, there is no better feeling. It’s the best feeling in the world.
Speaking about outside pressures, he said: ‘I don’t feel pressure in terms of what other people feel or think because I am who I am. But I feel pressure on myself to feel fit and healthy.
Mark added that despite his desire to be healthy, he does not train with his wife Michelle Keegan because she prefers a different type of sport.

He said: ‘She does different types of training for me, she does a lot of Pilates. That’s too slow for me, she likes to sweat, run and lift weights.
He admitted, ‘No, that Pilates is easy. I did Pilates with her once, it was hard.
The former TOWIE star will run the London Marathon on April 23 alongside his mother Carol, father Mark and brother Josh.
Speaking about his preparations, he said: ‘What you’re going through when you run alone, it can be taxing on the mind.
‘The moment you go up a hill, you have moments of weakness, you start to hit a wall. Mentally pushing yourself through that is constant work on your mind, which I think is great because if you have tough times in life, you need to know how to get through them.
And long-distance training is like that, it’s hard. It’s not fun to run so many kilometers, you’re not supposed to like it.
“You are in a marathon day with the noise and the fans, but the training is not to enjoy it, but it teaches you to be disciplined.”
Mark and his family are running for Flora’s Making Healthy Switches campaign, and Mark says, ‘I’m a big believer in balance and moderation in life.
‘Flora is making small, healthy changes in your life, because those small changes can change your life, they can be massive.
“So what I’m doing is telling my mom and dad that they’re doing a marathon, which is a push for their age, and they’re going up to 26.2 miles.

‘So if you’re making that huge change, you can make these small changes to improve your life.
We’re going to do everything we can to show that anything is possible and I think that’s an amazing message. I’m excited about it.
