Wahlberg then joked that it would be so difficult for him to leave college that he would probably “still be in the dorm” if he were “25 years a senior.”

Previously, the star admitted on the Today show that he “never really regretted going to university until” he spent time on campus with Ella.

Although his oldest's major is unknown, Ella is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and regularly documents her college life, from tailgating before football games to hanging out with friends, on social media.

In October, Will Ferrell nearly broke the internet after he was caught video guest DJing at a student party at the University of Southern California, where his son Magnus, 19, is attending.

Wahlberg has expressed over the years that he is “very passionate” about “being able to provide” for his “family life” in a way he “never dreamed of.”

“If my kids want to go to college, they'll be able to do all those things,” he explained Men's health magazine from 2015

Earlier this year, Wahlberg and his wife, wife Rhea Durham, moved to Las Vegas with their four children to give them a “chance to thrive.”

In addition to Ella, they share Grace, 13, Michael, 17, and Brendan, 14.

'It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think of Las Vegas, they think of the Strip,” the filmmaker told Fox News Digital. “But about 15 to 20 minutes away there are a lot of other great areas that are all about family and community.”

The devoted father emphasized in the release that the move was “really intended to give the children the opportunity to pursue their goals and dreams.

“My daughter is an equestrian,” he noted. 'My son is a golfer. My eldest daughter, now she is going to college. My son is a junior.”

Shifting the focus to his efforts, he added, “There are a lot of opportunities here for me too. We're trying to create a studio. We're trying to build the shoe factory. We want to create a lot of employment here.'

'I hope to create many opportunities here. And I originally moved to California to make films. I've made three films in LA in the last fifteen years. So, as you know, it was difficult.
