Mark Wahlberg adds more stars to Monday Night Football, joining ESPN’s ManningCast for the Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs.
The actor and producer will appear live on TV tonight, as will retired NFL quarterback Michael Vick and Iowa basketball sensation Caitlin Clark, according to Deadline.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Wahlberg is a proud fan of the New England Patriots.
But he once portrayed Vincent Papale, a former NFL wide receiver from Philadelphia who walked onto the Eagles’ roster after successfully trying out for the team in the ’70s despite not having played college football, in the 2006 film Invincible .
Wahlberg, 52, is the latest celebrity to appear on ManningCast, which started in 2021.

In the past, the program has included Arnold Schwarzenegger, who showed off his donkey on air, former US President Barack Obama and actor Will Ferrell.
John Stewart, Condoleeza Rice, LeBron James and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson also appeared on the Manning brothers broadcast.
Before Monday night’s game, all eyes were on the Kelce brothers. Jason was recently named one of the ‘Sexiest Men Alive’ by ‘People’ magazine, while Travis is dating Grammy-winning superstar Taylor Swift.
Together they host one of the most popular podcasts in America, lent their voices to a Philly-centric Christmas album and have transcended the NFL to become pop culture icons in their own right.
Monday night’s showdown between the Eagles and Chiefs will pit the Kelce brothers against each other
Even their family matriarch, Donna Kelce, has become a powerhouse over the past twelve months.
“It was a whirlwind,” admitted Jason Kelce, who will try to beat Travis and the Chiefs again for the first time.
The Eagles are 8-1 and atop the NFC entering the weekend, while the Chiefs are 7-2 and atop the AFC.
And while both teams still have a long way to go, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they meet again in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
