Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims Democrats Plan to Have Donald Trump ‘KILLED in Jail’ by Locking Him Up and Taking Away His Secret Service Protection

Conservative MAGA Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene believes Democrats are plotting to have former President Donald Trump killed in prison and are trying to strip his presidential secret service to achieve their goal.

She made her case that liberals want to see Trump die in prison during an interview on the far-right show “Infowars” with controversial host Alex Jones.

Greene claimed that the many lawsuits Trump is facing — including an ongoing trial in which he has pleaded not guilty to 34 crimes related to alleged hush money payments — are a deliberate attempt by Democrats to jail Trump until he dies.

“They want to put him in prison for the rest of his life so he dies in prison,” the Georgia Republican told Jones.

“And they want to take away his Secret Service protection so he might be killed somewhere in prison. That’s how serious they are.’

Greene referenced how Mississippi Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson — the former chairman of the House of Representatives Select Committee on Jan. 6 — introduced a bill last week that aims to strip Secret Service protections from former government officials who have been convicted of a crime.

Former President Donald Trump is in criminal court for his hush money trial on April 22, 2024. Trump is accused of falsifying internal company records as part of an alleged scheme to bury stories he believed could damage his 2016 presidential campaign.

The Act to Deny Infinite Security and Government Resources Allotted to Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable Former Protégés – the so-called STROKE Act – would force the Secret Service to give up protective duties to prison staff.

“Unfortunately, current law does not anticipate how Secret Service protections would impact the incarceration of a protected person — even a former president,” Thompson said in an April 19 statement.

“That’s why it’s imperative that we be prepared and update the law so that the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment — and that those sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required.” they are required.”

The bill was co-sponsored by eight other Democrats.

Greene is outraged by the legislation, which she says Democrats “don’t regret.”

“They literally want him dead,” she continued. “Bennie Thompson has introduced a bill to remove Secret Service protections. That’s how serious they are.’

She called the legal proceedings against Trump “rigged.”

Her claims are similar to those of the former president himself, who has called the legal proceedings a “witch hunt.”

This is also not the first case in which Greene has suggested that Democrats are trying to kill Trump by putting him behind bars.

In a long post from February on Xthe Republican said: “Biden’s DOJ is trying to put (President) Trump in prison for the rest of his life, which would be a death sentence.”

If Trump is convicted of the 34 crimes he faces in his hush money trial, the former president could face a maximum sentence of 136 years.

Since it is a state crime in New York, only Democrat Kathy Hochul can pardon him.

Greene and Thompson’s offices did not immediately return a request for comment.
