Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s last DLC tracks will be downloadable very soon

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gets one last DLC, which introduces new maps and characters.

Nintendo has announced the next Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC will be available for download November 9, 2023, for Nintendo Switch. This additional content is available with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription, or you can purchase it separately for $24.99/£22.49. Like previous expansions, this DLC adds eight new maps to the popular racing game.

Divide evenly down the middle between the Acorn Cup and the Spiny Cup, each dealing four cards respectively. Generally you can race around Mario Kart Wiis iconic Rainbow Road and Daisy Circuit. There are also Madrid Drive, Piranha Plant Cove and Rome Avanti out Mario Kart tour, as well as DK Mountain Double dash. Finally, players will also get Rosalina’s Ice World from the 3DS and Bowser’s Castle 3 from the SNES.

This DLC marks the end of a fantastic program with additional content. On release, Mario kart 8 just had a 48 card track list. However, after five previous DLCs, this number has doubled to a total of 96 songs.

Four more playable characters will also be added to this upcoming DLC. Many fans will be happy to see the iconic cast of drivers expand, with the new additions Diddy Kong, Pauline, Peachette and Funky Kong.

Players can also enjoy new racing outfits for the MII characters and a brand new Music Player feature, which allows players to listen to music from each course during a pit stop. Additionally, there will also be a new Daisy racing suit, which can be unlocked with a Daisy Amiibo.
