Video footage shows Mario Balotelli being helped out of his wrecked £100,000 Audi Q8 after a serious car crash in Brescia.
The former Italy striker, 33, appeared to have difficulty walking and had to be helped to an ambulance by paramedics after the impact in the Orzinuovi area of his hometown on Thursday evening.
Former Manchester City player Balotelli, who now plays for Turkish club Adana Demirspor, reportedly refused a breathalyzer test after the accident, prompting police to confiscate his driver’s license.
He lost control of his car, which crashed into a wall, causing extensive damage to the front end and at least one of the wheels.
After the force of the crash deployed the vehicle’s airbags, Balotelli reportedly climbed out of the car and lay on the ground while paramedics treated him.

Balotelli was back at home recovering from an injury and appeared to be moving very gingerly as he was helped by medics.
His brother Enock Barwuah visited the crash site after returning from training with his local team and took Balotelli home.
Balotelli has been the subject of several controversies during his career, with the striker making headlines days after joining Manchester City in 2010.
The attacker crashed his Audi R8 on the way to the club’s training ground and was found to be carrying £5,000 in cash at the time of the accident.
When police asked why, he reportedly replied, “Because I’m rich.”
Balotelli joined Adana Demirspor in September, signing for the Turkish club on a one-year deal.
The striker has scored three goals in five appearances since joining the club.
The former Inter and AC Milan striker confirmed this week his ambitions to return and regain a place in the Italian national team.
“When I’m doing well, I still consider myself the strongest,” Balotelli told TVPlay.
“Did [Giacomo] Raspadori and [Gianluca] Scamacca game [against Ukraine]? How many recordings did they make together? Two?
‘I want to recover and play for the national team. I always hope for a phone call.
“I met Spalletti and I met him several times. We joked a bit when we met in a friendly against Napoli, but I’m not in a relationship.’
