Earlier on Sunday, she announced the big news on her Instagram main page to her 11 million fans and followers.
In the caption to the mail, the talented star wrote: ‘Even ‘Little Mariah’ thinks it’s not time yet! Find out why she’s so depressed and confused when my new Christmas fairy tale comes out in November!’
The storybook will be officially released early next month on November 1, but is available for pre-order now. She shared a few glimpses of the character and the album cover by uploading a few photos.
In addition to writing a book, Mariah also shared how she planned to release a new album.

During an interview on the Rolling Stone Music Now podcastthe mother of two revealed that one of several projects she has worked on was creating a new ‘themed album’.
“It’s something people have been asking me for for years, but it’s not done in the traditional sense.”
Mariah continued to hint at the content of the album, saying, “It’s not finished yet, but I’m really excited about it. I work with some very eclectic, newer artists, as well as some legendary people.”
Earlier last month, on September 16, the award-winning star also released an expanded version of her 1997 hit, Butterfly, to celebrate her 25th anniversary.
