Mariah Carey dons a diamanté tiara while watching both season 1 AND 5 of The Crown at the same time

Mariah Carey got into the royal mind on Wednesday when she watched both the brand new and the first season of The Crown simultaneously.

The star, known as the Queen of Christmas, wore a diamond tiara and crystal earrings to the viewing party in her plush home theater.

And the royal drama, documenting the British monarchy with a fictional twist, even featured the singer’s 1991 hit, Emotions, in the new episodes.

Mariah was always glamorous as she reclined on her camel sofa in a lavish movie room, donning a satin cream robe loosely tied over a shiny beige number.

She had styled her coffee-colored locks in a soft curl and pulled it away in a beautiful updo, with a section falling to the side of her face.

And to add to the glamour, a diamond tiara sat on her tresses, along with silver earrings and a matching pendant necklace.

Sipping an oh-so-British teacup, the hitmaker was joined by one of her Jack Russell terriers, while her 11-year-old daughter Roe seemed uninterested as she lounged on another couch.

Mariah had season five of The Crown, which premiered Wednesday, playing on a projector, while season one was streaming simultaneously on a TV across the room.

The camera flipped from the projector to the second TV, as the singer explained, “Honestly, I love season one too. They’re all great to me.’

The new season debuted this week, with the previous two seasons of The Crown spanning the three decades before the 1990s. The entire team has been rearranged for the 13-year span of this series from 1990 to 2003

Tense: Series five of The Crown depicts the end of Charles and Diana’s marriage and their eventual divorce.

Queen Elizabeth II is now played by Imelda Staunton, following in the footsteps of Olivia Colman who took on the role for seasons three and four and Claire Foy who played the monarch in the first two seasons.

Other big names taking part in the new season include Dominic, who plays Prince Charles, and Lesley, who plays Princess Margaret.
