Mariah Carey recently climbed the Great Wall of China in 5-inch heels.
In her typically glamorous style, the 55-year-old pop diva also wore a long black dress and her hair, makeup and accessories were red carpet-ready.
The All I Want for Christmas is You singer began her journey with her twins Monroe and Moroccan, 13.
Mariah – who is gearing up for a fall tour – shared snaps from the day on X (formerly Twitter) and captioned them: “By the Great Wall of China!” she wrote. “Someone should have warned me about heels (not that I would have listened).”
In true teenage fashion, her children didn’t seem particularly pleased about being dragged along on their mother’s latest adventure.

Footage from social media users shows Mariah being helped onto the iconic structure by two people, as she struggles to walk on the uneven surface in her sky-high pumps.
“Only Mariah Carey could walk the Great Wall of China in heels (and actually do it),” one social media user wrote.
‘The first woman to walk the Great Wall of China in heels,’ joked another. ‘Another day, another record for the Queen!’
“A monumental iconic landmark and the Great Walk of China,” wrote someone else.
Another fan called the move “iconic,” while someone else added: “MC… You make everything EPIC.”
The family vacation comes just weeks after her mother Patricia and sister Alison died on the same day last month.
“I am heartbroken to have lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day,” she said in a statement to People.

There was no further information about the cause of death of Patricia and Alison.
Mariah had a notoriously strained relationship with her mother and sister over the years, and was estranged from Alison, a recovering drug addict, for three decades before her death.
