The 44-year-old Extra veteran and her 55-year-old spouse are using a surrogate, they shared with People on Tuesday.
They started IVF in 2012, but it didn’t work out, so they turned to surrogacy several years ago, and after a setback, they feel confident that they will be parents this year.
“After a decade of trying everything, we are so grateful to the beautiful family who helped us conceive our baby,” he told the site on Tuesday.

The couple started thinking about surrogacy in 2018 after IVF didn’t work for them.
Maria then got advice from her friend Kim Kardashian, who welcomed Chicago and Psalm via surrogates.
Sister Khloe also used a surrogate to welcome a son with Tristan Thompson.
“I was grateful to have her to share and help me,” Menounos said of Kim, 42. “She was so lovely and amazing and so patient with us,” added the One Tree Hill star.
After surrogacy failed in 2021, they tried again.
Menounos shared that he has worked with Family Match Consulting.
And he walked through his new journey with the site.
She was also seen watching an ultrasound video alongside her father, Constantinos. “Oh my gosh,” Menounos said as she watched.
