Margot Robbie looks spectacular in a gold velvet suit

She’s busy on the promotional tour for her movie Babylon.

And Margot Robbie looked gorgeous in a gold velvet gown when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Friday night.

The 32-year-old actress showed off her elegant sense of style in the sophisticated number as she sat on the famous sofa and chatted.

She completed her look with a black bralet underneath that showed off her taut midriff and dressed her blonde hair slicked back with tendrils around her face.

Margot opted for understated makeup to show off her beautiful natural features while smiling.

Also on the show was actress Cate Blanchett, 53, who looked sassy in a shiny blue and black blazer and black pants.

She wore her choppy bob in loose waves and opted for a radiant makeup look complete with a light pink lip.

Also on the show were comedian Alan Carr, singer Beverley Knight and Raye, who gave a performance.

Margot was on the show to promote her new movie Babylon, which opens next week.

Set in 1920s Hollywood, Babylon centers on the rise and fall of various ambitious dreamers, including characters played by stars Brad Pitt and Margot.

Bullet Train star Brad, 58, takes on the role of famed actor Jack Conrad, known for his partying lifestyle, multiple marriages, affairs and divorces.

While Margot is overnight star Nellie LaRoy, who navigates the industry by destroying herself through drugs, parties, and sexual encounters.

Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the film sees Manny Torres’ (Diego Calva) character entering the high-profile world and falling for Nellie.

It kicks off with a wild celebrity soiree filled with sex, drugs, nudity and alcohol, which The Wolf Of Wall Street actress Margot has described as a “party orgy”.

But even though both Brad and Margot are some of the biggest stars in Hollywood today, they’ve both admitted that they haven’t been to as wild of a party offscreen.

‘So wild? No,’ Brad joked to USA Today when asked, as his Australian co-star echoed his thoughts.

I’ve been to some wild parties, but not on the Babylonian scale. That’s something else,” Margot agreed.

The film features a sensational cast, including Tobey Maguire, Olivia Wilde, Katherine Waterson, Phoebe Tonkin, and many more.

And reflecting on the filming, Margot recently revealed that she went off-screen to kiss her co-star Brad in an impromptu scene, joking with ME! News: ‘How else am I going to get the chance to kiss him?’

Explaining the kiss, she shared, “That wasn’t in the script, but I thought, ‘When else will I get a chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I’ll just try.'” It was great!’

The blonde beauty also shared a kiss with her co-star Katherine, but added that she wasn’t sure if she made the cut.

Breaking the boundaries, the highly anticipated raunchy film even made the cast worry about the amount of nudity and whether it was allowed to be shown.

Of the film as a whole, Margot confessed, “When I read the script, I thought, ‘This is like La Dolce Vita and Wolf of Wall Street having a baby, and I love it!'”

‘But I was like, ‘Can we show that?’

“There were so many scenes where I was like a) I have no idea how I’m going to do that, and b) are we going to get away with it?”

Babylon opened in Los Angeles on December 15, 2022, and was released in the United States on December 23, 2022 by Paramount Pictures.

While it will hit UK cinemas on January 20, 2023.
