Margot Robbie goes incognito behind a V For Vendetta mask as she attends Casamigos Halloween party in Los Angeles

Her character Barbie is one of the world’s most recognizable Halloween costumes this year.

But Margot Robbie took a different approach when choosing her own costume when she attended Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford’s Casamigos Halloween party in LA on Friday.

The Australian actress was dressed unrecognizably as vigilante V from the cult film V For Vendetta.

Margot, also known as a Guy Fawkes mask, went completely incognito in the costume as she arrived at the star-studded bash.

She wore an all-black ensemble consisting of a tight sheath dress, a duster coat and heeled boots, while she completed her look with V’s famous bob wig.

Oddly enough, V for Vendetta – starring Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman – was released in 2006 on the same day as Barbie – March 17.

The film follows a vigilante named V who uses terrorist tactics to protest the police state that Britain finds itself in after a world war.

It comes after Barbie became the studio’s highest-grossing film of all time in US cinemas.

The summer hit helped the studio rake in $537.5 million at the domestic box office as of August.

And Greta Gerwig has become the most successful female debut director of all time, surpassing the $153 million earned by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck for the 2019 blockbuster Captain Marvel.

The fantasy comedy follows Barbie and Ken as they embark on a journey of self-discovery after an existential crisis.

The film, based on the Mattel character and co-written by Gerwig and husband Noah Baumbach, has been praised for its sharp examination of femininity.
