Margot Robbie, 32, brings mother Sarie Kessler, 65, to premiere of Babylon in LA  

Margot Robbie got the support of her mother Sarie Kessler at the premiere of her latest movie, Babylon, on Thursday night in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old Academy Award nominee hit the red carpet with the 65-year-old physical therapist before heading to the star-studded screening held at the Academy Museum of Film.

Margot modeled a stunning black cut-out gown with a hood, while Sarie dazzled in a plunging black gown with colorful beaded shoulders.

Adding to the drama of Margot’s gaze was a strange fur-trimmed tail that dangled from her left leg and brushed the ground.

Most of the Australian star’s silky blonde hair was hidden by the hood of her dress, through several pieces that were left out to frame her face.

She donned semi-sheer tights and black shoes to complete the look.

Meanwhile, Sarie’s elegant black dress had a thigh-high slit that allowed her to show off her slender legs and silver platform heels.

Her cropped blonde hair was swept to the side and she kept makeup to a minimum.

Sarie beamed with pride as she enjoyed the fanfare with her youngest daughter.

Margot seemed delighted to have her mother by her side as she posed with her arm around her.

The mother-daughter duo shared a lot of laughs before mingling with the rest of the Babylon cast and crew.

Sarie raised Margot and her three siblings as a single mother in Queensland, Australia. Her father, Doug Robbie, is a sugarcane magnate who reportedly left Margot and her three siblings when they were younger, according to New Idea in 2016.

Sarie has always been supportive of Margot’s acting dreams, even before her days on the soap opera Neighbours.

And in the September 2019 issue of Australian FashionMargot revealed that she had spent her first acting salary on her mother.

Margot explained to Sarie, who was interviewing her for the magazine, that she used the money to pay off the debt she owed her.

I spent it paying you back, Mom. You do not remember? She was so in debt at the end of grade 12,’ she explained.

“I had everything I owed you written on a piece of paper, and every time I got a paycheck I paid my debt, but then I kept the piece of paper because in the end it was very satisfying to know that I had paid it.” everyone back.’

The film traces the drug-fueled party atmosphere of Hollywood as it made the transition from silent to talkies.

Along with Margot, it also stars Brad Pitt, Jovan Adepo, Jean Smart, Diego Calva, Tobey Maguire, his old friend Lukas Haas, Olivia Wilde, Max Minghella, and Eric Roberts, among many more.

Bablyon is written and directed by Damien Chazelle, who previously directed the musical drama Whiplash, the Oscar-winning musical La La Land, and the acclaimed box office flop First Man, starring Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong.

It hits theaters on December 23.
